Uncommon No-bake Chocolate Pie

What makes this “pie” uncommon is the addition of ginger and cinnamon spices. Though subtler than expected, the taste lends a nice finale blending well with the flavor of coconut and cacao on top.

The filling is smooth. The base is chewy thanks to medjool dates. If you have the ingredients on hand, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Notes: This no-bake pie has a thick chewy crust. If desiring a thinner crust, follow directions for less almonds and dates.
