This recipe is a secret weapon, essential for a healthy version of chocolate sauce, able to be used for a dessert topping or ganache. I prefer choosing quality ingredients since only three ingredients are required. Below are some tips.

Tips:

  • Cacao powder is less processed than cacoa powder.

  • Unrefined coconut oil is less processed than refined.

Note: Once chocolate sauce is added to ice cream, a firm shell forms similar to conventional hard topping or magic shell products.

I measure coconut oil once melted. Then I add any leftover back into coconut container after oil cools.
