Gingerbread Protein Bites

 

This is a nice holiday snack recipe that is useful for adding protein powder. I use Garden of Life Vanilla flavored protein powder. (This is not an ad.) My favorite part about these bites is the taste of ginger and cinnamon.

This recipe usually yields around twelve to sixteen balls. My taste tester ate half of them in one day so I count it a successful recipe.

Consistency is chewy thanks to dates. I like lessening the amount of processed sugar, along with the nutrient value, of adding dates. Recipe is gluten-free and vegan unless the protein powder used is not. Store leftovers in an airtight container in fridge.
