May have to pay to park. Have yet to find free parking, but I am not overly familiar with the area. First visit was through the entrance of Augusta’s art museum, Morris Museum of Art. On second visit, parked near museum at parking garage. You can walk a higher or lower riverwalk level. Pavement is often cobblestone or brick. Runs along the Savannah River. I recommend wearing sneakers.
If interested, shopping mall to view is Surrey Center. Favorite grocery store: Sprouts Farmers Market.
